• FALL FESTIVAL PAGE
Each year on a Saturday in early October the Friends of Punderson present a Fall Festival. This event is designed around the family with many varied and interesting activities. Traditionally we plan hay rides, a costume contest, have trick or treating, and other fun type activities which may vary yearly. Check below for details on this year's festival.
2011 FALL FESTIVAL
Come join us Saturday, October 8th, 2011 from 2-6pm in the Campground Nature Center area (Festival is a go - Sunny & 78°). Admission, activities, hayride to the Lodge, and parking are all free. The Festival begins with a Costume Contest and New this year, a Dog Costume Contest. "Trick or Treat" follows in the lower campsite loop (Sites 1-90). The "Haunted" Nature Center (New) will have some kids Halloween crafts. There will be cookie decorating, face-painting, a make-and-take craft, lawn games to play, and you can even try out your Disc Golf and Archery skills. Food will be available at family-friendly prices.
We have kept the family in mind and all of the activities are free. Food costs are minimal and donations are appreciated for the hayride and the make-and-take activities. We invite you to come out and enjoy this annual event.
OUR LAST FALL FESTIVAL
The sunny 78º day was perfect for the 300 or so people that attended our family oriented Fall Festival. The proceeds from this event will be used throughout the park to make your visit here more enjoyable.
