FRIENDS OF PUNDERSON - DISC GOLF GOURSE
The Disc Golf course, located to the right just after you enter the park, is open to the public free. The course is currently 9 holes and will be expanding to 18 holes, hopefully in late May 2010. This wooded course works its way along the eastern edge of Pine Lake. Each hole is identified with a marker indicating the holes specifications and each has a beginner, intermediate, and advanced tee. If you do not have Disc Golf discs to enjoy this beautiful course they are available at the Lodge and Campground Check In. The areas Disc Golf Associations, along with Friends of Punderson members Thomas Mote and Steve Plavick plan several tournaments throughout the year.

DISC GOLF GRAND OPENING - Was Saturday, Oct 10th, 2009
A nice fall afternoon brought out these disc golfers for the Grand Opening of the Friends of Punderson Disc Golf course. They played an afternoon round and some even braved the cool night to play a round with their glow discs. The scores for the day are available by clicking on the Grand Opening Scores link below. If you would like to play a round the course is open to the public at no cost and is located at the end of the first road to the right after you enter the park.

Disc golfers for Saturday, January 9, 2010 - 8 brave (crazy) souls lettin' em' fly!!
These Disc Golfers braved the 18º cold Saturday afternoon for their weekly round at "Saturday Singles". As you can see they are fanatics of the sport. They invite you to brave the elements and come out to shoot a round or two. If not, come out in the summer months to play the course.

2010 ICE BOWL - Was Saturday, January 30th, 2010
Thank you to everyone who participated in the First Annual Friends of Punderson Ice Bowl!! We had 33 hearty souls braving the cold and slippery conditions for fun, to raise money to continue building the course and most importantly for charity. We raised $176.00 and collected 300 lbs. of food for the Geauga County Jobs and Family Services. This shattered our initial goals!!
We raised just over $500 for the Disc Golf Course. This too exceeded our expectations.
Again, a hearty thanks from the whole club to each of you for your part in the success of the event.

A special "thank you" goes out to the people at Punderson State Park for the use of the Sports Chalet as our headquarters, You ROCK guys!!
