The Friends of Punderson is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is making improvements to the Punderson State Park Region. This region includes: Punderson and Nelson Ledges State Parks as well as Tinkers Creek, Eagle Creek, Mantua Bog, Gott Fen, & Tummonds Nature Preserves. We organize programs, special events, and sponsor fundraising activities. All proceeds go toward making improvements to the Punderson Region Parks.

THE FRIENDS OF PUNDERSON WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO EXTEND A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO SUPPORTED US THIS YEAR. YOUR PATRONAGE ALLOWS US TO MAKE MANY IMPROVEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE PARK SUCH AS THE FLOWER GARDENS AND ROAD SIGN POSTS. THE PAT BEEBE MEMORIAL GARDEN LOCATED AT THE GAZEBO ON WM. B. CLEVELAND DR. WAS COMPLETED AND DEDICATED LATE THIS SUMMER. WE ARE AWAITING PLANS FROM HESS ENGINEERING OF NEWBURY SO WE CAN BEGIN TO REFURBISH THE CAMPGROUND AMPHITHEATER WITH A NEW STAGE, BENCHES WITH BACKS, AS WELL AS OTHER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE GENERAL AREA. IN MIDSUMMER A GROUP BARBEQUE GRILL WAS PURCHASED AND INSTALLED AT TINKERS CREEK.
